More dash than cash

{Jumpsuit/ Necklace - thrifted, Bangle - boutique find, Handbag - Forever21, Flats - Rosso Brunello}

I love thrift shopping, or shopping during sale season, I am always on the hunt for good bargains and hell yeah, I am not ashamed to admit it!! It's the hard earned money of my DAD that I am spending, I can at least do him this small favor, right?

So, as you see, my jumpsuit and necklace are thrifted and I actually found these beauties from Janpath Market [New Delhi] at throw away prices!! Girls, go out and explore your city. I am sure there must be some amazing street market at some little corner of you big city. Once you hit the right spot, I promise, it will all be worth the effort. Not the street wanderer kind, are you? Start saving money and splurge during sale season!! I tell you, you will get some super amazing deals!! Sale comes twice in a year, in January and in July....wait for it and go crazy in these two months :P

Street chic stripes

{Tank top/Shoes - Bangkok, Denims - Mango, Bag - Promod}

"Stripes" is one trend that's never gonna go out of fashion. Be it summers, fall, winter, stripes are evergreen. It's a wardrobe staple and is a must have for every girl in my opinion. You can dress it up as I did HERE and HERE or dress it down like HERE! So, when R wore this trend in a super trendy way, I decided to show her outfit to you guys as well....

The outfit in itself is pretty simple yet very stylish, I especially like the interesting zip placement on her denims! Did you guys notice it?

Now I really want a dress with stripes placed in grids, some horizontal, some diagonal, some vertical, and in a neon would look so fresh and trendy!

Lakme Lip Love conditioner "Siren"- review, photos and lip swatches

Okay now, you all know I love love love lip balms, right? I literally have an addiction of lip balms! I have to have something on my lips ALL.THE.TIME!! So, how could I resist buying the hottest little jar of tinted balm in the market right now!!! I finally gave in and added a new baby to my already overgrowing collection...take a look...

Claims : Lakme Lip Love Conditioner With Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil known to hydrate and condition lips and SPF 12 to protect from sun damage.

These cute little balms come in four shades:
- Siren - bright orange-coral color
- Charmer - subtle pinkish coral color
- Hottie - bright pink color
- Flirt - bright watermelon pink color
[I decided to go with "Siren" as I have a fetish for bright coral lip products :P]

What I like about this product :-
 - It looks super cute!!I love the packaging ^____^
- The color payoff is amazing! I have never found a lip balm which is so pigmented.
- It's quite moisturizing and hydrating.
- It has spf 12, which is always good :)
- They smell yummmm.....kinda sweet but not too overwhelming.
- Stays on the lips for good 1 hour and slowly fades to a gorgeous coral tint.
- I also like the consistency of this balm, it's not hard at all. It's very creamy and soft.
- It looks amazing over my mlbb lipstick!
- It does not settle in the fine lines of my lips.In fact, my lips look much more smoother and plumped with this balm on.

What I don't like about this product :-
- Applying this lip balm is a little difficult, I use my finger and my finger gets stained a little bit and I always have to carry a tissue with me to wipe it off.
- It cannot be used under lipsticks as a normal balm as it's very creamy and buttery.
- Well frankly, it IS over priced for a 3gm of tinted lip balm...

Price - Rs. 225

Rating - 4 / 5

Will I recommend - YES!!! I am so tempted to get all the other colors in this collection but I am getting better and better in restraining myself these days. Damn.

Nature lover

{ Printed pants - thrifted, Tank Top - ZARA, Scarf - Globus, Flats - Saash}

This post has been in drafts for almost one week, before I got my haircut :P

I thought I would better post it before it's too late...As you all must be knowing by now that I always prefer parks, gardens and greenery for my shoots.I have no idea why I like this background above any simple and easy background! It's not that easy to hunt for a garden in a completely new area but I still did, much thanks to A for bearing my tantrums! And excuse the lack of accessories in my latest posts, the rainy season and accessories just don't go together.

In this outfit, the print on my pants completely go with the background.In fact, the whole outfit goes with this setting, almost like a chameleon. I bet, no one will notice me if I stand among the trees...:P

New haircut ^_^

So finally I got tired of styling my hair everyday and wanted an easy way out. So, I decided to get a proper haircut after almost 2 years!! I had bangs earlier but they had grown out and my hair had no styling so it was getting really difficult to deal with them. I chose "The Looks" which is in DLF Promenade and a senior stylist, and mahn! am I glad I did! She was amazing and I love my new haircut....

{Leggings - U.S., Top - Zara, Scarf - gift from a friend, Handbag - Forever 21, Flats - Saash}

And now a few random pictures with me goofing around with my webcam :P

I love the fact that my new bangs are so versatile! I can wear them as straight across fringe or side swept bangs or sexy extreme parting(like in the first 2 pics)...I think I would trim them a lil bit more so that the length is better for straight across fringe but let's see....I love them so far!!
Do you guys like it? I am so excited to know what you all think ^_____^

An ode to summer...

{Romper - New Look, Scarf - thrifted, Handbag - Forever 21, Flats - Rosso Brunello}

Summer, oh summer, you've been such a blast!
But why, oh why, must you go by so fast?

I loved this outfit!! It was super comfortable and so stylish! I am kinda sad that's summer is fading away...I am not yet fully satisfied with hot pinks, bright yellows, rompers and jumpsuits.And I am gonna try to make the best of the last few days that are left before fall kicks in....And yeah, I am going nuts about scarves these days, I wear them Every.Single.Day! No exaggeration! So, don't be annoyed if you see a huge pile of cloth hanging around my neck in every single post. Can't help it :P
