Combining a bold color and a bold print

The Wills Fashion Week has affected my regular posts in a HUGE way and recently while browsing through my posts, I realized that I had tonnes of outfit and product reviews posts in my drafts! I had been very busy with college so I did not realize I was not posting any of my regular posts and that was slightly disturbing for me :( Here's this post almost 1 month old, sorry for that!

{House of Gaga T-shirt/Bag/Scarf - Zara, Green Cardi - Mango, Belt - Promod, Shoes - US, Cuffs - paharganj, Ring - Forever21}

I am IN LOVE with this cardigan I got from Mango recently! I bought the XL size bcoz I wanted it to be oversized and it is perfect for a regular day out or for brunch with friends. It's bright and such a bold color makes the whole outfit very stylish and colorful. And when paired with a bold print, it looks amazing. Just make sure, you create a neutral palette to work on. I wore black leggings and black T-shirt so that when I throw on my bright green cardi and leopard print scarf, there won't be too much chaos.
On a completely different note, I went to see the movies "Ghost Rider: The spirit of revenge" and "The woman in Black" and now I am dead afraid of switching the lights off while sleeping! The later one had a much stronger contribution in this regard...

P.S. - I am waiting for Glossybox to revert back about the prizes for the giveaway winner, sorry for the extreme delay, I will keep you all posted. I appreciate you all taking your time out to participate in the giveaway and that will not go to waste, I promise :)

WIFW A/W'12 Models Off Stage

While the Wills Fashion Week is over and everybody is gearing up for the LFW, I cannot stop obsessing over the gorgeous models who walked the ramp with utmost confidence and charm. If you have to ask me to pick one[or two :P], I would definitely say my girl crushes are Indrani Das Gupta and Jesse Randhawa this year. I would have loved Carol more if she didn't squint her eyes so much. Anyhoooooo, let's see what the models wore off stage while going to grab a bite in between the shows....

The models had amazing style sense and I liked the relaxed and layered outfits. Very easy yet very stylish. I want to write more but I am extremely late already. So, I will sign off here...

WIFW A/W'12 Gaurav Gupta

The garments at Gaurav Gupta were full of character and confindence. The bold eyebrows, the blue lips and the splash of blue on the hair all depicted that. I read somewhere that  the color blue is used to represent the harsh cold weather but I think the "garments" should represent that. Another confused collection. I am not feeling the print either! I liked the intelligent use of zips, the mesh of net with satin and the custom made glittery gold shoes though.
