Print on Print- Polka dots & Stripes

{ Top/Skirt/Heart Necklace/Love Necklace - Forever21, Statement necklace - Gifted, Stockings - Asos, Shoes - Carlton London, Bag - Aldo}

Last season my object of obsession was stripes and now polka dots have taken over the new position and the next four outfits are going to be dotted all over :P I didn't even realized I was buying and wearing only this one particular print from last one month and today when I browsed through my due posts, I noticed it and couldn't stop laughing at the uncanny resemblance in all the outfits! :D

Print on print is one trend that one can easily go wrong with. I kept the outfit very simple with two bold prints which surprisingly go very well together. If you want to mix floral,animal, tribal, abstract or aztec prints, try and keep it simple. Wear one print and you can carry an accessory of the other print like a scarf or a clutch. You can hardly go wrong with that. And if you would like to go all out with mixing prints, refer to Mary Katrantzou, she is the best designer when it comes to playing with prints. She will have 10 prints in one outfit and she will still make it look amazing! Google her if you don't believe me!

P.S. - On my nails - Inglot Nail Enamel 970, a pretty pastel blue - courtesy of Inglot Cosmetics

I wore this outfit to my college fest "Pearl Utsav" and here's a still from the event :)

And talking about events, I just received this video in my mail by the lovely Baani. It's about the Lecoanet Hemant Blogger Event and I love it! ^______^ You can see A in action for the first time in here...lol! And also my sweet fellow bloggers Akanksha, Purushu & Komal
