So, the last weekend of the year is here. The last Sunday of 2012. And suddenly, I don't feel excited that a new year is knocking at the door. What's the point of celebrating new year if there is no new beginnings, no change, no justice. India is today suffering from a heartache that the recent Delhi Gang Rape Case has caused. The victim dies a gruesome death and the politicians of the nation are blaming the hem length of the skirts, the necklines, the late night movies, clubbing, the CHOWMEIN!!!!Seriously!!?? Why isn't there any comments about how some men are vicious animals who don't have any self-control and go around committing heinous crimes. Death Penalty also seems too little for them. There's a lot that has been written, said and done about this whole ordeal but is there any real tangible result? Will India ever be a safe place for us? Will it be safe for us to wear what we want, go out when we want? Too many questions and no answers....
