HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2012 embodied happiness, sadness, joy, hatred, passion and all sorts of different emotions. It was a year to remember, cherish and in some way repent as well. The sad and tragic end of the year did dampened the whole experience but it was a good year, nonetheless. As we bid adieu to 2012 and welcome the brand new year 2013 as a clean slate for everyone to fill, color and dirty-fy, we can only hope there won't be a repetition of certain unpleasing experiences in the times to come.

This is the first post of this year and abiding by the few New Year Resolutions, I have made some improvements [not going to point them out though ;)]. The scarf print shorts were a summer purchase but I, being the nontraditional person that I am, decided to take them out for a test run in the harsh cold winters. I figured, worst of worst I will be laughed at but the curiosity and need to try something fresh and different from the regular trends pushed me to do it all the more! Since the temperature has dropped to as low as 3 degrees, I added layers of clothes on top to keep me warm. The blue cardigan playing peek-a-boo in the whole outfit is my favorite part.
