Of mixing Trends,Patterns and Textures

Spring is almost here and I have shed my knits for comfortable cotton during the daytime. One of the trends for this Spring/Summer is Multi-layers and relaxed slouchy bottoms. Even though these beautiful tie-dye pants are not very slouchy, they are very comfortable and relaxed and hence makes a perfect piece for Spring time. I think I will never be able to give up this piece, I just love it so much! It's truly one of a kind piece and so easy to style and wear.

The idea of layering a sleeveless shirt under this slouchy lace top I think is genius. Whenever I wore this top, I layered it with similar color tank top and never thought of doing anything out-of-the-box. But the idea here is to make the collar pop and hence I used my neon orange shirt to serve the purpose. And to emphasize the collar, I used one of my favorite necklace from Outhouse. The whole color palette of this outfit screams Spring/Summer. The myriad of colors somehow manage to blend in and create a beautiful garment, and I think this is one of my favorite outfits I have styled so far.

Spring! Just come already!

Comfort Shoes

{Shirt - Mango, Leggings - Zara, Jacket/Necklace - Stradivarius, Shoes - Asos, Bag - Accessorize, Knuckle Ring - H&M, Spikes Ring - Forever 21}

As the weather has clearly decided to play hide and seek, I have decided to end my dilemma of styling weather proof outfits every morning and have decided to stick to my semi-leather jacket. For the warm-in-day-cold-at-night days, it's good enough to keep me comfortable at every hour. Speaking of comfortable, oh the shoes! They are my new 5 hour-comfort shoes. Yes, I assign hours to my shoes according to the level of comfort, makes it easier to choose shoes for every occasion. Remember the blue Zara heels? They are 45-minutes comfort shoes. Yes. No kidding. [In my justification, they were on sale.]

This Valentine's...

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

{Dress - C/O Blueprint by Navya and Divya Niranjan, Blazer - Stradivarius, Clutch - Forever 21, Sunglasses/Cuff/Ring - H&M, Shoes - U.S.}

This custom-made dress by the talented designers of Blueprint fits me like a glove. The pastel yellow dress with a heart cut-out at the back is perfect for a nice romantic stroll though the park with your valentine or maybe a brunch date (Those are my favorites!). I styled it keeping in mind the freshness of Spring and soft, romantic element of 14th Feb.The salmon color blazer compliments the yellow dress in a unique way and they seem to perfectly work together like movie and popcorn. Keeping the dress and blazer highlights of the whole outfit, the accessories are toned down in neutral shades. The nude shoes and clutch completes the whole outfit without taking away any attention from the dress.

If you are still deciding on what to wear tomorrow, here are a few tips:
- Wear a bold dress if you are going out for dinner or clubbing. Red or black are the traditional choices but a bold blue dress will steal the show as well ;)
- Opt for softer colors if you are going out for Brunch, Stroll in a park or an evening movie. It keeps the look somewhat casual, flirty and interesting.
- Wear jeans if you are planning on going bowling, gaming, movies, shopping or just hanging out with your friends. But don't forget to accessorize!
- Heels would be the best option for dinner or clubbing, opt for wedges otherwise. You want your attention to be on your valentine, not your poor hurting soles.
- Keep makeup minimal, your guy would not be very happy if you smear your foundation on his shirt while hugging.
- Go for a light pink lipstick which is closest to your natural lip shade. Or better yet, use a lip tint!
- Last but not the least, be yourself! Your valentine likes you for YOU, not your clothes, your makeup or accessories. If you are unsure about it, you need to re-think that date!

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
And lots of love and hugs from me ^____^

There is something immensely playful about a bespoke ABSOLUT LIQUID LAB open to experimentation and creativity. And if there’s one thing we've learnt and caught on decade after decade, it’s that ABSOLUT with its imaginative and creative collaborations always creates exceptional experiences! This experience was designed by UnBox with master mixologist Arijit Bose.

An Intimate Lab style setting with over a 150 ingredients and the uniqueness of Absolut came together to form the Absolut Unique Infusion Installation and bar at PCO, the secret hidden restaurant which you can enter only if you know an unique code which you are supposed to dial at the PCO (a wall opens up to reveal the whole place!). The idea of a secret restaurant and bar with exclusive access mixed with the experience of creating our own exclusive infusion pushed us over the edge and we attended the event. The event was truly one of a kind! We made our own little infusion and had a ball while doing it! The exotic fruits and herbs, were so much fun to mix.
What an absolut delightful night!
