Most of you must be aware of the contest I hosted couple of weeks back where the winners were to get an opportunity to be styled by me at the Biba store. When the actual day came which required me to be present at the store and lend my styling services to selected few, I was a bundle of nerves. The surprising thing is, all the nerves straightened out the minute I entered the store. I realised the reason could be two: First, I am quite frequent to Biba, secondly, the very hospitable staff made me feel comfortable within minutes.
It was a fun filled day, hectic too but boy, did I have a great time! It's a different thing to style a shoot and get appreciation once the images are published and a completely different thing styling a customer or a reader and hearing instant praises! I also got to meet the three lovely winners and gave them makeovers along with vouchers, clicked lots of selfies for snapchat and it was just a really exciting new experience. I have always been hesitant of holding a Meet and Greet with my readers, but this kinda opened me towards the idea and I feel a bit more comfortable meeting total sweet strangers, talking to them and taking lots of pictures! Would that be something you all be interested in?
Before I wander off gallivanting about a completely different topic, let's look at few of the captured memories from that day. And yes, if you ever cross a Biba store, do drop by and check out the new denim, asymmetrical and ikat collection! The store does not only house ethnic items, they have introduced shirt dresses, trousers, tops, palazzo sets, dresses, shrugs etc too! So, you see, there's something for everyone! Have a look at the collection and buy if you wish from their online store at www.biba.in
Also, I got many questions about my outfit, necklace, makeup etc. so to break it down for you all, the outfit is by Biba except for the palazzo. The set actually comes with a black cotton palazzo itself. The necklace is by H&M, shoes by Forever 21 and my lipstick is L'Oréal Pure Vermeil Red. These were the famous questions. Hope you enjoyed the post!
